Our tips for seamless Sydney Airport travel

Road access to the airport is changing; the airport precinct may be busier than usual as drivers adapt. The airport may also continue to experience delays during peak travel periods. Public transport could be your best option for heading to the airport precinct.

Before you leave home:

  • Consider leaving earlier or avoiding traffic stress by catching the train or bus where possible. T8 Airport & South Line services run frequently to and from the domestic and international terminals, with services every day between 5am and midnight.
  • Check the Sydney Airport website for the latest updates on your flight status, parking availability, and potential delays in the airport precinct.
  • Plan your public transport trip ahead of time at transportnsw.info.
  • If driving, please allow extra time, use driver navigation apps to assist you on your journey, and pay attention to new signs along the way. • New Sydney Metro stations at Crows Nest and Victoria Cross mean more people can take advantage of metro services.
